I wanted to share a project I created for the 2024 REVEL Big Bear Marathon called "Fuel the Bear." This design combines the scenery of Southern California with a large, stylized bear and a runner. My focus was on creating a sense of depth in the design, in addition to strong typography and layout. I think the red hues matched the tone and the vibe of the illustration, and printed nicely against a light tan or natural garment.
